I joined Jon Adams on Talk of the Town for a conversation about something I care deeply about: how people actually create change when they do not have the biggest budget, the most political power, or the loudest voice in the room.
We talked about grassroots advocacy, coalition building, political apathy, and why real change usually starts when people stop waiting for someone else to fix the problem and learn how to work the system themselves.
A lot of this conversation gets to the heart of why I started Madison & Co.—because good ideas should not lose simply because someone does not know how to navigate policy, organize people, or get in the right room.

I joined Jon Adams on Talk of the Town to talk about some of the things I keep coming back to in public policy: where public money is going, what we are actually getting in return, and why we keep accepting systems that are expensive without asking enough about whether they work.
We talked about Fargo, behavioral health, accountability, and the gap between talking about problems and actually changing the structures behind them. A lot of it came from what I have seen firsthand working around social policy and the North Dakota Legislature.
